Workshops and Softblocks

Cmbox notice.png Fall 2022 quarter workshops are on Thursdays at 3:30pm ET / 2:30pm CT / 1:30am PT. Please circulate/share your work by the end of the day (in your local time) of the Wednesday preceding your slot.

The CDSC workshop provides a weekly venue to present/share work about once per quarter. The softblock provides a time for coworking sessions, meetups with other labs and researchers, and ad-hoc meetings.

Like in the critique and feedback session, you are welcome to workshop a wide range of things: planning documents, draft papers, manuscripts with reviews, grant applications, job market materials, practice talks, brainstorming potential projects, etc.
