First things first: We are going to install "Anaconda". This is a suite of programs for doing data science with Python. It will install the Python programming language, together with a number of other packages that we will be using later in the course, such as pandas and Jupyter. You should be able to install it from [https://www.anaconda.com/products/distribution https://www.anaconda.com/products/distribution]—make sure that you install Python 3.9.

After you have installed it, you should be able to open Anaconda Navigator, and then open Juptyer Lab.
