The Community Data Science Collective is located in room '''FSB 2-430''' at the '''Frances Searle Building'''. This notoriously hexagonal building will trap you in its cold, concrete embrace even after five years of navigating it. Fortunately, '''FSB 2-430''' is relatively easy to find. We share the space with the '''CollabLab''' run by Darren Gergle. <div class="toclimit-1"> __TOC__ </div> == Directions to 2-430 lab space== First, find the '''Frances Searle Building (FSB)'''. There are directions on [https://maps.northwestern.edu/txt/facility/92 Northwestern's website]. But for your convenience, this is the address: :2240 Campus Drive :Evanston, IL 60208 Now, follow the instructions below to get to the lab: <gallery> File:1 NU Lab FrancesSearle Front.jpg||1. Welcome to the '''Frances Searle Building (FSB)!''' This is the front of the building. Don't be afraid to go in! File:2 NU Lab Staircase.jpg||2. Go straight up the staircase you see upon entering the lobby. Go to the right side. File:3 NU Lab Top of Stairs.jpg||3. At the top of the stairs, if you look back you will see a '''lone internal-facing window'''. This is where the lab is. Walk past the open seating! File:4 NU Lab Lab Entrance.JPG||4. There should be a glass door with two signs, one for '''CDSC''' and one for '''CollabLab'''. You found it! </gallery> == Coffee chats == We try to have a weekly coffee chat for everyone who uses 2-430 to hang and chat about whatever while making yummy coffee together. The agreed upon time will be on the glass wall in dry-erase marker.
