Events
There are two events:
- ICA 2024 on June 20-24 in Gold Coast, Australia. The first event is typically a plenary on Thursday evening. The conference sessions will all be on Friday-Monday with a final plenary on Monday although many people leave on Monday evenings. historically.
- Wikihistories 2024: Wikipedia and/as Data in Brisbane

Travel and Lodging
There are two airports. Gold Coast (OOL) and Brisbane (BNE). Brisbane is a much larger airport. Brisbane is about 80km and is reachable with relatively short and frequent transit (bus and train, it seems).
The plan is to look into two different places to stay:
- Shared Lodging in Brisbane
- This would be between 2024-06-18 and 2024-06-20 [this is for attendings of the wiki workshop]
- Shared Lodging in Gold Coast
- This would be between 2024-06-20 and 2024-06-25 or 2024-06-24 (depending on if evening flights are possible).
