The Community Data Science Collective is located in room FSB 2-430 at the Frances Searle Building. This notoriously hexagonal building will trap you in its cold, concrete embrace even after five years of navigating it. Fortunately, FSB 2-430 is relatively easy to find. We share the space with the CollabLab run by Darren Gergle.
Directions to 2-430 lab space
First, find the Frances Searle Building (FSB). There are directions on Northwestern's website. But for your convenience, this is the address:
- 2240 Campus Drive
- Evanston, IL 60208
Now, follow the instructions bellow to get to the lab:

1. Welcome to the Frances Searle Building (FSB)! This is the front of the building. Don't be afraid to go in!

2. Go straight up the staircase you see upon entering the lobby. Go to the right side.

3. At the top of the stairs, if you look back you will see a lone internal-facing window. This is where the lab is. Walk past the open seating!

4. There should be a glass door with two signs, one for CDSC and one for CollabLab. You found it!
Coffee chats
We try to have a weekly coffee chat for everyone who uses 2-430 to hang and chat about whatever while making yummy coffee together. The agreed upon time will be on the glass wall in dry-erase marker.
