The text appears to be have been created with DejaVu Sans ExtraLight.

Downloadable versions of the logo are provided here in vector formats (SVG and PDF). You can turn these from a SVG/PDF into a PNG file of any size/resolution using Inkscape:

Centered text (SVG)
Left-justified text (SVG)
Logo only (SVG) (also in PDF)
"Wide" version with text to right of logo (SVG)
Logo with cutout lines (for laptop skin, etc) (also in PDF)

We've printed up stickers which group members should have or at least know how to get. If you want a bigger laptop version you can get those online from:
