I'm a Ph.D. candidate at Northwestern in Technology and Social Behavior, an interdisciplinary program in computer science and communication. My research looks at decentralized social networks like Mastodon as sociotechnical information systems from both a top-down (rules, governance) and bottom-up (networks, communities) perspective. My work largely incorporates computational social science methods.
