Hello! 

My name is Srishti, I usually go my Srish! I'm an interdisciplinary researcher working to study and examine community attitudes towards technology and visual data in a largely image-mediated world. I'm a PhD student in Rhetoric, Media, and Publics at Northwestern University, in Evanston, Illinois, USA. I am also a coordinator of jail education for the Northwestern Prison Education Program, and wear a few non-profit policy consulting hats in radical inclusion practices in education. In an earlier life, I used to be a speechwriter/policy adviser for the Greens Party in the Federal Senate of the Australian Parliament.

With a generous grant from the Alice Kaplan Institute for Humanities, I am currently designed a public project of eyewitness cartography -- layering community storytelling on top of geospatial data to create art projects.
